Souvik Pal - Bridgewater Canal, Trafford : Souvik Pal was found dead in the Bridgewater Canal in Trafford. He had been out clubbing on New Year’s Eve when he vanished. He was found 22 days later in the Bridgewater Canal about 50ft away from the nightclub. His body was discovered by police divers. He had been to the New Year’s Eve event at the Warehouse Project which was described as one of the biggest New Year's Eve parties in the country.

Sunaria Hamid-Howells - Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taff: Sunaria Hamid-Howells died from being shaken. The Coroner said that she had been unlawfully killed and that one of her parents was responsible.

Kyle Vaughan - A467, Risca, Wales: Kyle Vaughan was last seen on the evening of 30 December 2012 by his family when he left home. Two men were arrested in relation to his murder in January 2013, but no one was charged.

Sonica Hans - Priory Court, Bedford, Bedfordshire: Sonica Hans went missing on Boxing Day 2012. She was last seen leaving her flat with a friend at Priory Court in Bedford at about 1.30pm which she shared with her sister and brother-in-law. She had said that she was going to the shops and would be straight back but wasn't seen or heard from again. Before she left she had asked her sister if she wanted anything from the shops.

Alexander Stewart - Henfield Close, Archway, London: Alexander Stewart died following what was thought to have been a fight. He was thought to have been involved in a fight of some sort in Archway between 6 December and 11 December 2012.

David Ross - Village Inn Express, Corby, Northamptonshire: David Ross was beaten to death in his hotel room at the Village Inn in The Jamb between 7am and 8am on Monday 17 December 2012. He was found dead at 2.40pm on the same day. A woman that had been working at the hotel said that she knocked on his hotel room door earlier in the morning and heard someone groan and then went away. She said that when she came back later she found David Ross lying with a pool of blood about his head.

John Roberts - Park Terrace, Winlaton, Gateshead: John Roberts was found beaten to death in his home at Park Terrace, Winlaton in Gateshead. At the time of his murder he had been on trial for the abduction or kidnapping of a 14 year old girl. He had taken a girl in September 2012, who had planned to run away from home, to London to show her what it was like to be homeless. He was later arrested for her abduction and appeared at Newcastle Crown Court on 13 December 2012.

Poppi Iris Worthington - Barrow in Furness, Cumbria: Poppi Worthington died from asphyxiation. Her first inquest in 2014 returned a verdict that the cause of her death was unascertained.

Stephen Andrews - Dukes Head Pub, Lower Richmond Road, Putney, South London: Stephen Andrews was assaulted outside the Duke's Head pub in Thames Place off of Lower Richmond Road in Putney on Sunday 9 December 2012 at about 12.30am and taken to St George's Hospital where he later died at 6pm the same day. He had been involved in a fight after going out to celebrate his girlfriend's birthday. It was not thought that he had been a regular at the Duke's Head pub.

Jamie Starkey - Higher Lane, Fazakerley: Jamie Starkey was shot as he was leaving his home and going to his car in Higher Lane in Fazakerley. He had been shot several times after which the gunman ran off towards some playing fields.

Alexander Perepilichnyy - St Georges Hill, Weybridge, Surrey : Alexander Perepilichnyy died in uncertain circumstances. He died whilst out running and was said to have had traces of a poisonous plant in his stomach. He was found face down on the verge outside his home in his jogging suit. He had lived in a gated community.

David Whitehead - Queensmead Recreation Ground, Bromley, South London: David Whitehead died from a fractured skull. It was thought that he had been assaulted in Queensmead Recreation Ground, Bromley, around 30 October 2012. He was then taken to Kings College Hospital, in Camberwell where he later died eight days later.

Swaran Singh - Neachells Lane, Wednesfield: Swaran Singh was murder in his home. He had been a builder.

Teon Palmer - Montagu Road, Lower Edmonton: Teon Palmer was stabbed in the street after having his tyres slashed. He had been stabbed once in the chest.

Usmani Family - Barn Mead, Harlow, Essex: Sabah Usmani (mother), Muneeb Usmani 9, Rayyan Usmani 6, Hira Usmani 12, Sohaib Usmani 11 and Maheen Usmani 3 all died in a fire at their house. Their deaths are classed as murder. Sabah Usmani, Muneeb Usmani, Rayyan Usmani and Hira Usmani died in the fire.

Brendon Lally - Burnley Wood, Lancashire: Brendon Lally was found dead at the foot of some stairs. However, no one was charged after it was heard that it could not be determined whether he was pushed or had fallen.

Kyle Sheehan - Jiggins Lane, Bartley Green, Birmingham: Kyle Sheehan died after being stabbed in the leg during an altercation in Jiggins Lane, Bartley Green. He was stabbed as he was walking back from playing football in Senneleys Park just after 10pm on 21 September 2012 and died in hospital a week later on 28 September 2012.

Hester Mottershead - Saxonfields, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, West Midlands: Hester Mottershead died from a brain haemorrhage following a distraction burglary at her home, Saxonfields in Tettenhall. Four men posing as water board officials dressed in blue boiler suits entered her home and whilst one of them pretended to inspect her taps, the other three spent half an hour going through her drawers and cupboards after which they left with her valuables in what was thought to be two cars. 

Kestutis Mickevicius - Spur Road, Beckton: Kestutis Mickevicius was found dead on wasteland. A man was tried for his murder and manslaughter but acquitted on both counts.

Sophie Rosser - Meridian Point, Canary Wharf, London: Sophie Rosser died in a fire. She had rushed into the building after seeing that it was on fire in order to warn her fiance. However, she became overcome with smoke and died.

Nathaniel Brown - Launcelot Road, Downham, South London: Nathaniel Brown was stabbed to death at a party in Launcelot Road in Downham, Lewisham. Three teenagers were tried for his murder at the Old Bailey but acquitted after one of them claimed he had acted in self-defence.

Fabio Fanfarillo - Winchester Avenue, Leicester: Fabio Fanfarillo was found in the street with a head injury on 27 July 2012 and taken to the Queen's Medical Centre where he died three days later on 30 July 2012. He was said to have been assaulted in Winchester Avenue, Leicester.

Pamela Wheeler - 57 Newacres Road, Thamesmead, South-East London: Pamela Wheeler was murdered in her home at 57 Newacres Road, Thamesmead on 20 July 2012. A suspect was identified but no charges were made.

Tom Kirwan - Uberra Club, Wednesfield Road, Wolverhampton: Tom Kirwan was stabbed to death outside the Uberra nightclub in Wolverhampton during a street brawl. Six people who were involved in the fight outside the club during which Tom Kirwan was stabbed were convicted of affray. After they were convicted the police said that they were still working on finding Tom Kirwan's killer.

Robert Curtis - London: Robert Curtis died after falling in front of a tube train on the Jubilee line. However it was thought that he might have been killed by Russian agents.

David Baird - Dale Avenue, Cambuslang: David Baird was found in a shallow grave near the River Clyde by men digging on an industrial estate. He was last seen around 6.45pm on Saturday 16 June 2012 walking towards Cambuslang and had lived in Blantyre.

Joseph Gerard Thompson - Ravensthorpe Green, Liverpool: Joseph Gerard Thompson was shot in the head at about 1am on 14 June 2012 at Ravensthorpe Green. Another 27-year old man was wounded in the shooting and taken to the University Hospital in Aintree in a critical condition but survived.

Marvin Hogan - Thornhill Gardens, Leyton: Marvin Hogan was stabbed in Thornhill Gardens, Leyton on 4 June 2012. He was found stabbed in the street at 9.40pm and taken to the Royal London Hospital but died a few hours later in the early hours of the following day, 5 June 2012. The 4 June 2012 had been a Bank Holiday Monday.

Ivan Emmanuel Campbell - Victoria Nursing Home, Anson Road, Rusholme: Ivan Emmanuel Campbell died from non-accidental internal injuries at the Victoria Nursing Home in Anson Road where he was a resident. His inquest in 2015 heard that he had been kicked, punched and stamped on.

Connie French - North Street, Colne: Connie French was attacked in the early hours of 27 March 2012 in her home in North Street, Colne, during a burglary and taken to hospital where she later died on 13 April 2012. A 24-year-old man from Colne was tried for her murder but acquitted, however police said that they were not looking for anyone else.

Christopher Monks - Botanic Road, Churchtown, Southport: Christopher Monks died after being punched outside The Bold Arms in Botanic Road, Southport. He became involved in an altercation with a man outside the pub on 14 March 2012 who punched him, causing him to fall and hit his head on the pavement. He was taken to hospital but never regained consciousness and died nine days later on 24 March 2012 at the District General Hospital in Southport. However, the man claimed that he had acted in self-defence after Christopher Monks had headbutted him.

Tafadzwa Khan - Long Lane, Bawburgh, Norfolk: Tafadzwa Khan was stabbed outside a party. A man that had been at the party was charged with his murder but the case was later dismissed.

Brian Harkins - Westmuir Place, Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire: Brian Harkins was shot dead on his doorstep in Westmuir Place, Rutherglen at around 8am on Wednesday 7 March 2012. He was later found by a family friend at around 10am.

Russell Bohling - Bempton Cliffs, Bridlington: Russell Bohling vanished on 2 March 2010. His car was found at Bempton Cliffs the next day. He had paid for a day’s parking.

Paul Duckworth - Stamford Street, Ashton under Lyne: Paul Duckworth was beaten to death in the street. Two men were tried for his murder but acquitted due to lack of evidence.

Earl Warburton - Loampit Hill, Lewisham: Earl Warburton was assaulted during a robbery at his flat in Loampit Hill, Lewisham, at about 2.25am on 15 February 2012. He died 15 minutes after receiving multiple injuries.

Omer Jama Abdi - St Johns Road, Wembley: Omer Jama Abdi died after being attacked in the street. A man was tried for his murder and manslaughter but acquitted.

Ali Armagan - Langham Parade, Turnpike Lane Station, London: Ali Armagan was shot in the neck at close range as he sat in an Audi A8 car near Turnpike Lane in February 2012. He was said to have been the head of the Hackney Turks or Bombacilar gang which had been involved in an ongoing war with the Tottenham Turks since January 2009.

Leslie Trotman - Rowan Road, Brentford, West London: Leslie Trotman died six days after being attacked by a dog. He died from a ruptured spleen after he was chased by the dog which had bitten him on the leg and he had fallen over.

Joshua Green - Stars and Mayfair Club, Queens Road, Sheffield: Joshua Green was stabbed in the early hours of 1 January 2012 after an argument in a club. He had been in the Stars and Mayfair Function Suites on Queens Road in Sheffield when he was stabbed in the neck on the dance floor at about 2.45am.
