Isaac Kofi Benson - Rounded Oak Pub, Mitcham Road, Tooting: Isaac Benson was stabbed at the Rounded Oak pub in Mitcham Road, Tooting on 16 December 2016 at around 1.30am. He was taken to St George's Hospital where he died shortly after arriving. His cause of death was given as a single stab wound to the heart.
Darryl Craig - Peasholm Glen, Scarborough : Darryl Craig was found dead in a stream in Peasholm Glen, Scarborough on the morning of Thursday 14 December 2006 at about 8.30am. He had died from drowning and his death was considered suspicious. He also had severe bruising to his face and arms with more than 100 injuries including cuts, grazes and bruises, however, the pathologist said that his injuries did not cause his death. It was not known how he had come to be in the stream.
Edward Jones - Lovel Avenue, Welling: Edward Jones was attacked in Lovel Avenue, Welling at around 1.30am on 11 December 2006. He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich where he died soon after from severe head injuries.
Jimoh Plunkett - Zest, Princes Street, Ipswich, Suffolk: Jimoh Plunkett was shot at the Zest nightclub on Princes Street in Ipswich on 9 December 2006 around 1.50am. He was taken to Ipswich Hospital where he died from a chest wound less than two hours later.
Edwin Rewald-Carter - Lambeth: The murder of Edwin Rewald-Carter is flagged as undetected by the Metropolitan Police. No further information known.
Alexander Litvinenko - Pine Bar, Millennium Hotel, Mayfair, London: Alexander Litvinenko died from polonium-210 poisoning. A public inquiry into his murder concluded that the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, had probably approved his assassination.
Arian Arthur - The Jam, Shoreditch High Street, Shoreditch: Arian Arthur was shot at the Jam nightclub in Shoreditch shortly before 5.30am on the Saturday morning of 18 November 2006. He had been with a group of friends when he had an argument with another man and was then shot.
Aivar Mezolvich - Barking & Dagenham: The murder of Aivar Mezolvich is reported as undetected by the Metropolitan Police. No further information known.
Darren Ogiste - Defoe Road, Hackney, London: Darren Ogiste was shot in a drive-by shooting in Defoe Road in Hackney in the early hours of 9 November 2006. A silver car pulled up and six or seven shots were fired from inside hitting Darren Ogiste and his friend between 1.15am and 1.40am.
Karen Black - Cleethorpes: Karen Black went missing in Cleethorpes. In 2016 four men were arrested on suspicion of her murder but were later released without charge.
Jamail Newton - Aristocrats Nightclub, 294 Camberwell Road, Camberwell Green : Jamail Newton was shot outside the Aristocrats nightclub in Camberwell Green at about 2.20am on 1 November 2006. He was taken to hospital but later died. Two other people were also treated for gunshot wounds.
David Lees - Middleton Road, Prestwich: David Lees was deliberately run over outside a petrol station on Middleton Road, Prestwich after he and his friends had had an argument with some Asian men from Longsight, Manchester. In 2016 two people were arrested, although not trial details or convictions are known.
Michael Bowling - Newham: The murder of Michael Bowling is flagged as undetected by the Metropolitan Police. No further information known.
Paul McMillan - Valence Avenue, Dagenham: Paul McMillan was stabbed in Dagenham as he was walking his girlfriend home. In October 2006 three teenagers were charged with his murder but there are no known trial results or convictions.
Stuart Christopher McMahon - 8 Magdalen Road, Earlsfield: Stuart McMahon was shot at his home in Magdalen Road in Earlsfield. The police found him dead in his kitchen on the Saturday 30 September 2006 at about 5pm. They said that he must have staggered from the front door to the kitchen before dying. The glass in the front door was broken and it was thought that the gunman might have broken it to check that he had hit Stuart McMahon. A total of six shots were fired and the empty cartridge cases were found on the floor.
Mohammed Yasin - Whitehall Road, Bordesley Green, Birmingham: Mohammed Yasin was shot in the head on his doorstep on 28 September 2006. Three people were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, but released about a year later without charge.
Dean Jeffery - Ridgeway Parade, Fishponds : Dean Jeffery died a week after being assault on Ridgeway Parade in Fishponds. He was walking home from a parade of shops after having been to Baryahs General Store in Fishponds Road on 21 September 2006 at about 9.00pm when he was assaulted between the store and Ridgeway Parade. He managed to walk home and later on called an ambulance and was taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary where he died a week later from head injuries.
Elizabeth Ogungbayibi - Bradford: Elizabeth Ogungbayibi is missing. She disappeared after going to a relative’s home in Bradford.
Daniel Ross - Scala Nightclub, 275 Pentonville Road, Kings Cross, North London: Daniel Ross was shot dead on the dance floor at the Scala nightclub in King's Cross on 24 September 2006. Daniel Ross had gone to the club at about 1am and was later shot on the dance floor near the DJ box at about 3.45am. He was taken to the hospital but pronounced dead at 5.22pm.
Jason Gayle-Bent - Ludwick Mews, New Cross: Jason Gayle-Bent was stabbed outside his home by a gang of youths at about 9pm on 17 September 2006. He had been sitting on a wall in Woodpecker Path near his front door with two friends at around 9pm when a gang of between 30-40 youths on bikes rode up and attacked them. He was stabbed and one of youths had fired an air pistol at them before they rode off.
Dean Myles - Club UK, Stokes Croft, Bristol: Dean Myles was shot at a nightclub. Four men were charged and tried for his murder. One of the men was acquitted whilst the jury failed to reach a verdict on the other three. A retrial was ordered but the case was later dropped. The Crown Prosecution Service dropped the case shortly after a ruling by a Court of Appeal on the issue of hearsay evidence from anonymous witnesses. The Court of Appeal had ruled that emergency laws protecting the anonymity of witnesses would not allow them to have their evidence read out in their absence.
Gurdeep Singh Mann - Windmill Lane, Smethwick: Gurdeep Mann was killed in a street fight. Three men were convicted for affray because it could not be determined who inflicted the fatal blow. It was said that he had been attacked during an argument over rumours that he was a police informant.
Duncan Charles Frame - Cutty Sark Pub, Thamesmead, South East London: Duncan Charles Frame was attacked outside the Cutty Sark pub in Thamesmead on hte night of Saturday 9 September 2006. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich but found to be dead on arrival.
Jessie James - Broadfield Park, Moss Side : Jessie James was shot in Broadfield Park in Moss Side shortly before at 2.40am on 9 September 2006. He had been cycling through the park on his bike with friends when a gunman that had been hiding in the bushes shot him four times. He had been shot with a semi-automatic handgun and hit three times.
Mohamed Said Mohamoud - Waltham Forest: The murder of Mohamed Said Mohamoud is flagged as undetected by Metropolitan police. No further information is known.
Roy Helm - St Nicholas Road, Littlemore, Oxford: Roy Helm was beaten to death at a flat. He was found dead at his flat on 12 August 2006 at 1.45pm when an ambulance was called, 12 hours after the attack.
Beata Bryl - Hedsor Lane, Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire: Beata Bryl was found beaten to death and burned in woods off of Hedsor Lane, Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire on 29 July 2006. She was last seen alive 50 miles away at Leytonstone Tube station on 28 July 2006 at 11.32pm.
Josenir Dos Anjos - Fairbanks Road, Tottenham: Josenir Dos Anjos was stabbed in Fairbanks Road, Tottenham near his home on 28 July 2006. He was taken to hospital but died soon after.
James Stanton - Aintree Commercial Vehicles, Ormskirk Road, Thornton, Merseyside : James Stanton was shot dead at the Aintree Commercial Vehicles car showroom around 6pm on 24 July 2006. Two masked gunmen had gone into his office there and then shot him in the head and back.
Daniel Corroyer - Albion Pub, Union Street, Barnet: Daniel Corroyer died after being attacked in the Albion pub garden at about 10.50pm on 22 July 2006. He was taken to the Barnet Hospital and then transferred to the Royal Free Hospital where he died on 24 July 2006.
Patrick Sweeney - Weir Street, Greenock: Patrick Sweeney was found dead in his flat at 2.35am. His brother was tried for his murder but there is no known trial result.
Julian Kempsey - Youngs Court, Doddington Estate, Battersea, South-West London: Julian Kempsey was beaten to death. His neighbour was charged with his murder but no trial results can be found.
Akim Oriola - Village Bar Restaurant, Hoe Lane, Enfield: Akim Oriola was attacked outside a Chinese takeaway at about 10.45pm on Saturday 15 July 2006 and died the following day. He had been in the Village Bar Chinese takeaway in Hoe Lane around 10.45pm when he got into an argument with another customer. The argument went outside where they started to fight and Akim Oriola was seriously injured.
Philip Salmon - The Army Golf Course, Shoe Lane, Farnborough: Philip Salmon was found dead on The Army Golf Course in Farnborough. He had been burned.
Malcolm Barnett - Hunters Hall Road, Dagenham: Malcolm Barnett died after being beaten with a baseball bat when six men burgled his home in Dagenham, East London, on 10 June 2006. He suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital where he died five days later on 15 June 2006.
Mashooq Khan - Tetley Road, Sparkhill, Birmingham: Mashooq Khan was stabbed to death in a front garden at a house in Tetley Road on 6 June 2006 after making a bogus pizza delivery. Two people were tried for his murder but acquitted.
Selmore Lewinson - Hammersmith: Selmore Lewinson was killed in the Hammersmith & Fulham area. His death is reported as undetected by the Metropolitan Police.
Luke Durbin - Dogs Head Street, Ipswich: Luke Durbin disappeared in Ipswich on 12 May 2006. He had been out for a night on the town on 11 May, 2006 and gone to the Zest nightclub with friends. He and a friend of his were seen on CCTV at around midnight approaching a taxi at Cardinal Park, Ipswich, then later, after he separated from his friends, at Ipswich railway station between 2.30am and 3am, the Hawk Express taxi rank at 3.45am, and then later at 4am on 12 May 2006 walking across a zebra crossing on the Dogs Head Street heading towards the bus station. It was thought that he didn't have enough money to get the taxi home.
Simon Montenior - Stockwell Road, Lambeth, London: Simon Montenior was stabbed in the chest in Stockwell Road. The Lambeth Borough Commander report states that no suspect had been identified to date but there is no other reference that can be found regarding his murder.
Paul Owens - Norfolk House Road, Streatham, Southwest London: Paul Owens was stabbed to death at his flat in Norfolk House Road in Streatham, southwest London. His neighbour was tried for his murder but was acquitted.
Aaron Joel Watson - Creation Nightclub, Cookridge Street, Leeds: Aaron Joel Watson was shot at the Creation nightclub on Cookridge Street in Leeds on 1 May 2006. He had been shot in the stomach on the dance floor after a scuffle with a group of men at 1.45am. He was shot in the area of the club known as Act 3. It was thought that he had earlier bumped into someone and that he had walked off but gone back with his uncle and that they had then got into a row with a group of Afro-Caribbean men during which he was shot at close range. When he was shot he had been standing just behind the DJ box in the area.
Deividas Strizegauskas - Princes Terrace, Newham, East London: Deividas Strizegauskas was killed during a fight in Newham, east London. Several youths were charged with his manslaughter but there are no known trials or convictions.
Simon Carlo Monteiro - Lambeth: The death of Simon Carlo Monteiro is flagged up as undetected by the Metropolitan Police. No further information is known.
Peter Oduwole - Hackney Road, Hackney, London: Peter Oduwole was shot in Hackney Road whilst handing out flyers on Sunday 23 April 2006. He had been a music promoter and had been visiting venues in the area around 8.30pm.
Fabian Ricketts - Battersea Bar, 58-70 York Road, Battersea: Fabian Ricketts was shot in the heart outside the Battersea Bar, in York Road, Battersea, on 18 April 2006. Three men were tried for his murder at the Old Bailey but were acquitted after the judge said that there wasn't enough evidence against them. One of the men tried was later convicted for the murder of Sadiq Adebiyi in Stockwell. He was also convicted of being in possession of a loaded Smith and Wesson revolver about three months after Fabian Ricketts was shot. The Smith and Wesson revolver was said to have been 120 years old and from the Wild West.
Paul Daly - Reedham Gardens, Penn, Wolverhampton: Paul Daly was found dead at his home in Reedham Gardens in Penn. He had been stabbed once in the chest.
Robert Dean - Whetley Mills, Thornton Road, Girlington: Robert Dean was found floating in a mill pond at Whetley Mills, near Thornton Road, Girlington, in April 2006. Initially his death was ruled as an accident, but an investigation into his death was re-opened in October 2009 when new evidence came to light.
Michael Read - Austin Road, Charford, Bromsgrove: Michael Read died after being assaulted in the street. He was found unconscious outside a house in Austin Road, Bromsgrove at around 11pm with serious head injuries on Friday 24 March 2006 and died six days later at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch on Thursday 30 March 2006.
Nicholas Sang and Doreen Abidoph - Towpath Way, Croydon: Doreen Abidoph and Nicholas Sang died after being set on fire with petrol during a domestic row. The fire had taken place at their home on Towpath Way on 7 January 2006. Doreen Abidoph was taken to hospital with 80% burns and later died on 24 January 2006. Nicholas Sang later died on 21 March 2006 from bronchial pneumonia and multiple organ failure.
Mayooran Jaffma Mahendrarajah - Greenford Road, Ealing: Mayooran Mahendrarajah was attacked in an alleyway running between Greenford Road and the Tesco Metro supermarket on 16 March 2006. The police were called out at 8.25pm on 16 March 2006 after reports that a man was seriously injured. Mayooran Mahendrarajah was taken to New Ealing Hospital where he died at 9.49pm.
Carlton Alveranga and Richard Austin - Brass Handles Pub, Edgehill Close, Langworthy, Salford : Carlton Alveranga and Richard Austin were shot in a pub. They had been hired by a security boss Robert Speirs to kill a man at that Brass Handles pub in Salford.
Jordan Lee Jackson and Lalya Djemal-Northcott - Menlo Gardens, Upper Norwood, Southeast London: Jordan Jackson and Leyla Djemal-Northcott were shot dead in their home. Four people were charged with their murders but the case collapsed after the judge ruled that identification evidence used was fatally flawed.
Sarah Flooks - Wanstead Park, Wanstead: Sarah Flooks was found dead in woodlands. The coroner recorded an open verdict saying there was no sign of foul play or suicide.
Mehar Singh Kataria - Byron Avenue, Newham, East London: Mehar Singh Kataria was beaten and stabbed to death at his home. He had been beaten about the head with a heavy blunt instrument and once he was dead he was covered from his head to waist with a tablecloth and then stabbed in the body multiple times.
Jason Gerald Abraham-Millership - Birmingham Canal, Albion Road, West Bromwich: Jason Gerald Abraham-Millership was found dead in the Birmingham Canal near Albion Road, West Bromwich on 1 February 2006. He had been kidnapped from outside his home in Park Lane East, Tipton, on the night of 31 January 2006 and was found dead in the canal the following day.
Leon Adams - Wornington Road, Notting Hill, London: Leon Adams, 26, was shot in the head late at night on Wornington Road in Notting Hill, London. He was found around midnight.
Monsur Alam - Hackney: Monsur Alam's death is flagged as undetected by the Metropolitan Police. No further information is known.
Rebwar Osman Samin - Clyde Street, Leicester: Rebwar Osman Samin was stabbed to death in Clyde Street, Leicester around 5pm on Wednesday 11 January 2006. He was last seen in Sara's Restaurant, in Humberstone Road and was thought to have left with a friend and walked to Clyde Street where they got into a fight with two other men. Both Rebwar Samin and his friend were stabbed in the attack. He was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary where he died shortly after.
Joan Board - Enfield: Joan Board died after collapsing at her home on 2 December 2005 from heart disease. Her doctor was later arrested on suspicion of her manslaughter, malfeasance and perverting the course of justice, and bailed. The doctor was arrested after paramedics that had come out to attend to her after she collapsed at 2.40pm raised concerns when they found that the doctor had failed to resuscitate her as she lay dying.
Cherie Bendig - Smith House Avenue, Brighouse: Cherie Bendig was found dead in her bedroom having died from a ruptured spleen. She was found dead in a bedroom at 7.30pm on Friday 6 January 2006.
Subramaniam Sivakumar - Apna Bazaar, Willesden High Road, Willesden: Subramaniam Sivakumar was found dead in his shop. It was thought that his killers were Tamil Tigers and that his death was ritualistic.
Ralph Charles Platten - 6 St Michaels, Sutton, Norfolk: Ralph Charles Platten died the day after he was assaulted in his home by burglars. Five people were arrested for his murder but the case against them was later dropped when the Crown Prosecution Service said that there was not enough evidence to bring charges against them.
Barrington Williams-Samuels - Palace Pavillion Nightclub, 229 Lower Clapton Road, Hackney: Barrington Williams-Samuels was shot in his car outside the Palace Pavillion nightclub in Hackney. A man was tried for his murder in April 2008 but was cleared after the case was dropped due to lack of evidence. It was noted that the only evidence they had was from a single eye-witness and said that they could not base the case solely on that.
Alexandre Marques - Woodside Road, Caddington, Luton, Bedfordshire: Alexandre Marques's skeletal remains were found in undergrowth off Woodside between Caddington and Slip End on 2 January 2006. Two people were arrested on suspicion of his murder during the police investigation but were released with no further action.
Meshack Bernard-Brown - Melbourne Avenue, Newtown: Meshack Bernard-Brown was shot at a party. Three men were convicted for his murder but their convictions were later quashed and replaced for convictions for violent disorder. He was shot at a party for his 20th birthday in Melbourne Avenue, Newtown with a 12-bore shotgun. Two shots had been fired through the door to the house by some people in a car.
