Kevin McGuire - Stronachlachar, Aberfoyle, Perthshire: Kevin McGuire went missing. He was last seen following an argument with his wife on 31 December 1994 when he got into his car and drove off. His metallic green Saab car with private registration F22 RAC, has never been traced.
Amina Khatun - Washington, Tyne and Wear: Amina Khatun was found stabbed to death in her home. She was attacked at about 11.10pm on Friday 30 December 1994. She had suffered multiple injuries including stab wounds to her throat.
Edward Bransfield - Arthur Street, Hillfields, Coventry: Edward Bransfield was shot in the head and neck in his car in Coventry on 29 December 1994. Tracey Mertens - Eaton Church, Eaton, Congleton: Tracey Mertens was found with serious burn injuries in the grounds of Eaton Church near Congleton on 23 December 1994, and died the following morning. A man was charged with conspiracy to murder in 1995 but the case was dropped on the grounds of insufficient evidence.
Leslie Watkinson - Woods Road, Peckham: Leslie Watkinson died after being mugged. He had just been to the Post Office in Peckham to collect his pension.
Mohammed Younis - Chalvey, Slough, Berkshire: Mohammed Younis was killed in his flat in Chalvey, Slough on Monday 19 December 1994. The police said that they thought that he might have been murdered by a mentally ill stranger or that he had disturbed a burglar.
Nayantara Ali - Winchelsea Road, Forest Gate, East London: Nayantara Ali disappeared on her way to school and was later found rolled up in a green sheet 50 yards from her home dead, having been sexually molested. She disappeared on 4 November 1994. Her body was found on 29 November 1994.
Frank Tranter - Badsey Road, Lion Farm Estate, Oldbury, West Midlands: Frank Tranter died following a burglary at his home. A youth was tried for his murder but acquitted.
Michael Meenaghan - Monks Close, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, Oxfordshire: Michael Meenaghan was shot dead on 10 December 1994 at his home on the Blackbird Leys estate in Oxford. He had been shot at about 4.30pm through the chest with a shotgun through the kitchen window at the rear of his end-terrace house as he made a pot of tea.
John Sheppard - John Horwood Bookmakers, Cambridge Street, Aylesbury: John Sheppard was killed during a robbery in the betting shop that he was managing. He was stabbed more than 40 times in the chest and back. It was said that he had been stabbed 20 times with an eight-inch kitchen knife that was later found in Norfolk Terrace nearby. He had also been struck on the head.
Mark Taylor - Brunel University, Uxbridge: Mark Taylor died at Brunel University, Uxbridge. He had been studying engineering sciences at Brunel University and had been involved in a fracas which resulted in his death.
Tressel Foster - Aytoun Road, Brixton, South London: Tressel Foster was shot in his car near his home in Aytoun Road, Brixton. He had been a shopkeeper in Sidney Street, Brixton, and had just returned home from work.
Ethsham Ul Haq Ghafoor - Lambley Lane, Gedling, Nottinghamshire: Ethsham Ul Haq Ghafoor was shot dead in his taxi near some playing fields by Lambley Lane in Gedling, Nottinghamshire. Eight people were arrested following his murder, but no one was charged.
David Rayner - Maestros Nightclub, Bradford : David Rayner died after hitting his head on a kerb outside Maestro’s nightclub in Bradford after he was allegedly thrown out by a bouncer on 16 November 1994. The bouncer was cleared of his manslaughter in December 1995.
Pamela MacAlister - Beauly Place, East Kilbride: Pamela McAllister was stabbed and slashed 57 times. A nightclub bouncer was tried for her murder but found not guilty.
Barry Bailey - Chapel Avenue, Walton, Liverpool: Barry Bailey died from 80% burns after he was set on fire outside his home in the early morning of Tuesday 15 November 1994 at about 3.30am. Four people were arrested in relation to his death, but no one was charged.
Florence Andrews - Barkingside, East London: Florence Andrews died at her home following a burglary. A boy was later questioned over his murder, but no charges were ever made.
Shona Stevens - Alder Green, Middleton Park, Bourtreehill Park, Irvine : Shona Stevens was beaten to death with a hammer while coming home from the shops. She was found in undergrowth with head injuries yards from the back door to her home in Middleton Park.
Lindsay Jo Rimer - Rochdale Canal, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire: Lindsay Jo Rimer was found dead in the Rochdale Canal. She had been strangled.
Michael Walkling - The Gallery Club, Penge : Michael Walkling was beaten to death outside a nightclub in Penge. Two men were tried twice but acquitted because they could not determine who made the fatal blow.
Gladys Parker - Chard, Somerset: Gladys Parker was stabbed in her home in Chard, Somerset. It was thought that she had disturbed a burglar.
John Ogden and Michael McCormack - Prince of Wales Pub, Cavendish Road, Balham, South London: Michael McCormack and John Ogden were shot dead outside the Prince of Wales pub. It was said that they were ordinary, hard-working family men, and that there was nothing in their background that could be found to offer a possible motive. The police said that they thought that they might have been shot in a case of mistaken identity.
Kathleen Doris Hempsall - Longdales Road, Lincoln : Kathleen Hempsall was found stabbed to death in her home after a suspected burglary. Two youths were charged with her murder, and one was convicted, however, his conviction was later quashed on appeal. A third youth who was charged at the same time with aiding and abetting the burglary pleaded guilty.
Mandy Wix - Bartram Avenue, Braintree, Essex: Mandy Wix was killed in her bedroom. She was said to have been a prostitute.
Christine Graham - Nechells, Birmingham: Christine Graham fell nine floors from a block of flats on Sunday 9 October 1994. Her ex-boyfriend was tried, but acquitted.
Adrian Harrison - Walmer Castle Pub, 102 Peckham Road, Camberwell, South London: Adrian Harrison was shot outside the Walmer Castle pub in Camberwell. He was shot in the stomach and taken to King's College hospital where he died shortly afterwards. The police and ambulance were called to the pub at 11pm.
Julie Pacey - Longcliffe Road, Grantham: Julie Pacey was found dead in her home in Longcliffe Road, Grantham, in 1994. She had been sexually assaulted and strangled. She was found in her bathroom by her teenage daughter.
Stan Gordon Nicholls - Anchor Inn Pub, Hampstead Lane, Yalding, Kent: Stan Gordon Nicholls was shot in the head at a pub. He had been drinking at the Anchor Inn pub in Hampstead Lane, about half a mile away from his house, on 26 September 1994 and as he left at about 11.40pm two men burst in wearing masks with a sawn-off shotgun. There were still about a dozen people in the pub at the time and Stan Nicholls was shot in the temple.
Derek Sheerin - London Road, Glasgow : Derek Sheerin was found dead in the East End of Glasgow on waste ground near the Celtic Social Club on London Road. He was last seen at about 6.30pm on 25 September 1994 walking from Glen Islay Street towards London Road.
Keith Jones - Denstone Crescent, Huyton, Liverpool: Keith Jones was stabbed. His wife was charged with his murder. She was said to have stabbed him following an incident at their family home on the Wednesday night, 21 September 1994.
Atek Hussain - Burnels Avenue, Upton Park, East London: Atek Hussain was stabbed to death outside his home in Burnels Avenue, Upton Park. He ran a family owned restaurant called the Warlingham Tandoori at The Green in Warlingham, Surrey, and had been working there shortly before he was murdered.
Hassan Bilgi - Dalham Farm, Cooling Road, High Halstow, Kent: Hassan Bilgi was shot and then dumped in a field at Dalham Farm, between Cooling and High Halstow, Kent. It was initially thought that he had been shot at his home in Ferrier Estate, Kidbrooke, South-East London and then dumped in the field near High Halstow, Rochester.
Elaine Gorman - Camberwell, South London: Elaine Gorman was killed in her flat. Nothing more is known.
Sandra Brewin - Peatmoor, Swindon: Sandra Brewin disappeared from her home in Peatmoor. She had been living at home with her parents at the time.
Kenneth Brown - Hunters Lodge, Barrow Upon Soar, Leicestershire: Kenneth Brown was shot dead at his farmhouse near Loughborough on the night of 25 August 1994. He was discovered in a chicken coup at Hunter’s Lodge, Barrow upon Soar on Friday 26 August 1994 by a cleaner at 10am. He had a single gunshot wound to the chest. His post mortem showed that he had died from a single bullet fired into his body some 12 hours before he was found.
Frank Latham - Liverpool: Frank Latham was stabbed. No further details are known.
Tom Winstanley - Newton Heath, Manchester: Tom Winstanley was beaten to death at a flat in Newton Heath, Manchester. His hands had been tied up.
Fred Franks - New Cross Road, Ilderton Road, Peckham: Fred Franks died from a heart attack a few minutes after he was robbed by some youths. A 19-year old youth was charged with his manslaughter at the Old Bailey but the case was thrown out after the prosecution failed to prove that the 19-year old youth had used violence or threats of violence.
Julie Finley - A570, Rainford Bypass, Skelmersdale, Lancashire: Julie Finley was found dead and naked in a field near the Rainford bypass on 6 August 1994. She was last seen at about 11.05pm on Friday 5 August 1994, in Pembroke Place, at the rear of the Liverpool Royal University Teaching Hospital talking to a man by some railings.
Leslie Woodward - Bootle, Merseyside: Leslie Woodward was stabbed at a party in Bootle on Sunday 31 July 1994. He had been out earlier with some friends in Liverpool and they later went to the party in a flat above some shops at the junction of Hawthorne Road and Bedford Road, where Leslie Woodward later got into a dispute and was stabbed.
Christopher Little - Stockport Road, Marple, Stockport: Christopher Little was shot in his black 500 SLE Mercedes sports car as he stopped at some traffic lights in Stockport Road outside a pub on the night of Friday 22 July 1994 at about 11.20pm. He was shot twice in the head with a 12-bore double-barrelled shotgun and it was said that he had died instantly.
Scott van Nuill - Seven Sisters Road, Tottenham, North London: Scott van Nuill was stabbed to death in Seven Sisters Road, Tottenham, North London and robbed of a bag of cocaine. He was stabbed through the heart in daylight.
Colin Michael Murphy - Victoria Terrace, Eastwood, Todmorden: Colin Michael Murphy was attacked outside his home during a robbery and died later in hospital. He was a wealthy businessman and his killers got away with about £3,000.
Mary Hammond - Ludlow Court, South Acton Estate, Park Road East, Acton, London: Mary Hammond was attacked in a corridor outside her flat in Acton on 12 July 1994. She died four days later at about 5.25am on Saturday 16 July 1994.
Derek Wignall - Liverpool: Derek Wignall was stabbed in Liverpool on 15 July 1994. He was also known as Wiggy and had been from Mansfield.
David Foley - Northumberland Arms Pub, 141 Kings Cross Road, Kings Cross, London: David Foley was shot outside the Northumberland Arms pub at 141 King's Cross Road, King's Cross, on 12 July 1994. He was shot once through the temple at point-blank range.
Andrew Branbury - Stoke Newington, Northeast London: Andrew Branbury was stabbed at a party in Stoke Newington on 11 July 1994. No other details are known.

Sharon Harper - Earlsfield Lane, Grantham : Sharon Harper was murdered on her way home from the Market Cross public house where she worked. She was strangled half a mile from her home and dumped in an ornamental shrubbery in a car park for Shepherd Construction.
Iftikhar Ahmed - Kebab Shop, John Street, Luton: Iftikhar Ahmed was shot in the kitchen of Kebab Shop in John Street, Luton on 1 July 1994. He had been working in the kitchen of Kebab Shop at the time when he was shot twice in the chest.
Selhouk Behdjet - Noll House, Andover Estate, Hornsey Road, London: Selhouk Behdjet was found stabbed to death at his flat in Noll House on the Andover Estate, Hornsey. He was found dead at the scene having suffered from multiple stab wounds.
Marion Alcock - 173 Sandon Road, Stafford, Staffordshire: Marion Alcock was found dead in a large wheelie bin. The pathologist confirmed that she died from head injuries. She was also said to have had neck injuries.
Donovan Beckford - Kings Arms, 132 Peckham Rye, Peckham, South, London: Donovan Beckford was shot outside the Kings Arms in Peckham as he sat in his car on 10 June 1994. A man was tried for his murder but acquitted.
Barathe Mehta - Archway Road, Archway, Hornsey, London : Barathe Mehta was murdered in an attempted robbery at a sub-post office in Holloway, London on 6 June 1994. He was found by a passer-by bleeding heavily at 6.30pm.
Margaret Renner-Ceres - Elite Travel Agency, Central London: Margaret Renner-Ceres was stabbed at the Elite travel agency in north London on 1 June 1994. She was from Sierra Leone.
May Murrells and Kenneth Murrells - Weymouth Road, Hillingdon, Middlesex: May Murrells and Kenneth Murrells were killed at the same time in different locations. May Murrells was found dead at her home in Weymouth Road, Hillingdon while her husband Kenneth Murrells was found dead at a paddock in Victoria Lane, Harlington where they had kept horses. However, the police said that it was unlikely that Kenneth Murrells had been murdered where he was found.
Mary McKinlay - Glen Tower, Range Road, Motherwell: Mary McKinlay was raped and murdered in her high-rise flat in Glen Tower in Range Road, Motherwell. She was beaten and stabbed nine times and died after her windpipe was severed and she drowned in her own blood.
Dawn Shields - Mam Tor, Derbyshire: Dawn Shields was found strangled on the slopes of Mam Tor, a peak near Castleton in the Peak District. She was found naked and buried beneath rocks and debris by National Trust wardens. It was thought that she had been there for about a week.
Shoukat Ali - Brampton Park Road, Hornsey, London: Shoukat Ali died from a heart attack after he chased a thief that had stolen his son's £100 car radio at about 4.30pm on 18 April 1994. The chase had taken place in Brampton Park Road, Hornsey.
Diane Clarke - Trinity Street, Gainsborough: Diane Clarke died in a house fire that was thought to be arson in Trinity Street, Gainsborough on 16 May 1994. Three people were arrested in connection with her death, but no one was charged due to insufficient evidence.
Andrew Trail - Desmonds Blues Club, Hallcarr Street, Burngreave, Sheffield: Andrew Trail was stabbed at the Desmond’s Blues Club in Hallcarr Street, Sheffield on 14 May 1994. He was found in the toilets at the club with knife wounds.
Ronald Cousins - 5 Anchor Street, Moulsham, Chelmsford, Essex: Ronald Cousins was stabbed to death at his home in Chelmsford, Essex on 4 May 1994. He was a devout Christian and a page from the Bible had been ripped out and stuffed into his mouth. His face was also covered in thick white paint or spray painted.
Christopher Horrox - Bombay Street, Manchester: Christopher Horrox was shot in the head whilst out helping to put up fly-posters in Bombay Street, Manchester on 4 May 1994. A 32-year-old man was tried for his murder but acquitted.
Karen Anne Reed - 31 Willow Way, Barnesbury Farm Estate, Woking, Surrey: Karen Anne Reed was shot multiple times on her doorstep on the night of Saturday, 30 April 1994 after she opened her door to a caller at about 9.15pm. The police said that they thought that her murder was a political assassination and that she had been shot in a case of mistaken identity for her sister who was under police protection.
Keith Copeland - Plazza Club, 252 Lozells Road, Handsworth, Birmingham: Keith Copeland was shot outside the Plazza Cafe in Lozells Road, Handsworth in Birmingham at about 2.20am on 19 March 1994. He was a doorman at the Plazza Cafe, which was an illegal drinking den.
Rosella Middleton - Birchfield Tower, Perry Barr, Handsworth, Birmingham: Rossela Middleton was sexually assaulted and beaten to death in her flat after she got off a bus on the night of Wednesday 20 April 1994. She was last seen getting off the bus in Birchfield Way near the flats at about 10.45pm.
Brian Dunning - Trafford Avenure, Harehills, Leeds: Brian Dunning was beaten to death at his home in Leeds. He was thought to have been killed between 13 and 16 April 1994. He was found on the Saturday, but he had not been seen for a week.
Michael Donovan - Sefton Road, Walton, Liverpool: Michael Donovan was stabbed to death in the hall of his home in Sefton Road, Walton on 13 April 1994. He was stabbed to death in front of his wife. He had been stabbed 17 times in the face and chest and the scene was described as looking like a bloodbath. He had also been stabbed in the head.
Helen McEwan - Longsight, Manchester: Helen McEwan was hit with a chair in her home and her house then set on fire on 4 April 1994. She had lived in Longsight, Manchester.
David Wheaden - Manchester: David Wheaden died from head injuries following a fight on 3 April 1994. The fight had taken place the previous night in Manchester.
Josephine Berrington - Wallington, Surrey: Josephine Berrington was strangled and then set on fire at her home in Wallington, Surrey on Friday 1 April 1994. There was no sign of a break in and the police said that they thought that she had known her murderer. A neighbour said that they heard screaming from the flat on the Thursday at 3am.
Angela Jenkinson - Barkerend, Bradford, West Yorkshire: Angela Jenkinson was found strangled on wasteland on 1 April 1994, Good Friday. A suspect, who was a 31-year-old policeman, later killed himself.
Paul Heap - Yorkshire Street, Rochdale: Paul Heap was stabbed in a newsagents in Yorkshire Street, Rochdale as he was robbing it. The newsagent was charged with his murder, but the charges against him were later dropped. He had also been charged with the attempted murder of another man that had been with Paul Heap during the attempted robbery.
Doreen Morris - Penrhyn Uchaf, Mill Lane, Holyhead: Doreen Morris was killed in her home, Penrhyn Uchaf, which was then set on fire. A man was charged with her murder about 14 months later and tried, but he was acquitted at Chester Crown Court in 1996.
Colin McLachlan - Merseyside: Colin McLachlan was stabbed outside a video shop in Merseyside on Saturday 19 March 1994. A man was charged with his murder but his death was later reported to be unsolved.
Trevor Monerville - Trumans Road, Stoke Newington: Trevor Monerville was stabbed in Trumans Road, Stoke Newington on 19 March 1994. His brother Joseph Burke-Monerville was also later murdered in 2013 and his murder is also unsolved.
Mehmet Kaygisiz - Mildmay Park, Islington, London: Mehmet Kaygisiz was shot in the back of the head at a Turkish cafe in Islington as he was playing backgammon. His murder is connected to a number of other murders within the London Turkish community.
Barry Stubbings - Whites Row, Spitalfields, Whitechapel, London: Barry Stubbings was killed at his flat in London on Wednesday 13 March 1994. He had his throat slit at his flat and had been stabbed several times. The assault on him was described by police as frenzied.
Brian Humberstone - Timbercroft Lane, Woolwich, London: Brian Humberstone was stabbed in a street fight in Timbercroft Lane, Woolwich on 27 February 1994. Several people were tried for his murder, but witnesses were proved to be liars and the case was dropped. It was heard that several of the witnesses gave evidence in court that contradicted their own statements and contradicted other witnesses. The prosecution said, 'They are such liars I cannot call them as witnesses'.
Larry Burt - Old Pump House, St Catherines Way, Wapping, East London: Larry Burt was found strangled on 26 February 1994 near Tower Bridge, London. He was a homosexual and enjoyed art and painting. He had lived in Ramsgate in Kent and would visit London every couple of months.
Anthony Scarlett - Livingstone Avenue, Aigburth, Liverpool: Anthony Scarlett was stabbed through the heart yards from his home on 25 February 1994 in broad daylight around lunchtime. He was said to have fought desperately to defend himself against the knifeman. He died on the pavement within yards of his flat.
Danny Ferguson - Shakespeare Road, Bedford, Bedfordshire: Danny Ferguson was shot in the eye and his body was hacked with a machete in his bedsit in Shakespeare Road, Bedford on 21 February 1994. He had been shot with a .22 calibre weapon through the eye and had a machete wound to his chest.
Darren Brennan - Spencer, Northampton: Darren Brennan was stabbed in Spencer, Northampton on 6 February 1994. No further details are known.
Claude Moseley - Bethune Road, Stoke Newington, North London: Claude Moseley was stabbed in the back with a samurai sword in Bethune Road, Stoke Newington on 2 February 1994. He had been a former black British high jump champion and was a member of Haringey Athletics Club.
Dorothy Carter - Whipps Cross, London: Dorothy Carter was mugged in the street in Whipps Cross. She had been kicked in the stomach and later died from multiple injuries.
John Cobham - Marlow, Buckinghamshire: John Cobham went missing shortly after changing his will. Nine months after he went missing the police opened a murder investigation.
John Buckley - Plumstead, London: John Buckley died during a burglary at his home in Plumstead. A boy was later questioned over his murder, but no charges were ever made.
Julie Hewes - Fen Ditton, Cambridge: Julie Hewes was murdered in Fen Ditton. She was found murdered in her home.
Kenneth McAllister - Colwyn Bay, North Wales: Kenneth McAllister was beaten to death with an iron bar in his bedsit. A neighbour was acquitted of his murder in May 1994. It was noted that whilst the neighbour had been on remand for the murder of Kenneth McAllister in HMP Walton in Liverpool he had gone on hunger strike for 52 days, stating that there was a police vendetta against him, almost killing himself.
Bishek Kalwa and Alina Tamborska - Fleet Road, Hampstead: Bishek Kalwa and Alina Tamborska died in an arson attack at their flat on Sunday, 20 January 1994. The killer had poured a trail of petrol which led from the house and out through the cat flap. They had lived on the second floor of the flat and had been trapped in their bedroom by the flames.
Sarah Anne Lewin - Bradley Boulevard, Sheepridge: Sarah Anne Lewin was beaten to death in her home in the early hours of 14 January 1994. The police said that they thought that Sarah Lewin had known her assailant and that she had let them into her flat and that she had been killed between 11pm on 13 January 1994 and 11.23am on 14 January 1994.
Julian Stewart - Radley Walk, Moss Side, Manchester: Julian Stewart was shot point blank in the head in Moss Side on 12 January 1994. A car was seen to drive off at speed from the scene of the shooting in Radley Walk after the shooting.
Oswald Brown - Delancy Fashion, Stoke Newington, North London: Oswald Brown was shot at his shop on 10 January 1994. He was a fashion shop owner and was shot at his shop, Delancy Fashion, in Stoke Newington.
Basil Wicombe - Rosaville Road, Fulham, London: Basil Wicombe was strangled at a house in Fulham, London. He was found dead in a dressing gown of an upstairs floor of the house which was on fire on the Sunday, 9 January 1994.
Derick Kiley - Harpenden Road, West Norwood, South London: Derick Kiley was stabbed to death in his flat in Harpenden Road. He lived alone in a flat in Harpenden Road which he called the Haven as he often had friends’ round. Friends that knew him said that in the last six months he had seemed quite lonely and seemed quite frightened of being alone and it was said that there was no doubt that something had been worrying him.
Man - North Sea: A man was found in the North Sea off the coast of Germany in 1994. It was thought that he had come from the Bristol area.
Ahmed Guleid - Oxford, Oxfordshire: Ahmed Guleid died in a house fire in Oxford. No further information is known.
